Where are Mally's products made?

Mally Thorne Creations is based in beautiful San Antonio, TX where Mally hand makes each and every one of her creations for you to enjoy.

Do your products vary from the photos on MallyThorneCreations.com?

Yes and No. First, images may appear different on different screens. Secondly, due to the nature of handmade items, there will be some minor variance between each item that is created. With all of that being said, Mally works very hard to get the products as close to the photos as possible for each listing. 

How do you monitor and control the quality of your products?

Here at Mally Thorne Creations, quality is a top priority every step of the process. Mally has spent many, many hours researching (and continues to research) to find the best possible wax melt components and suppliers. Once she is satisfied with the components, she orders all of her supplies and thoroughly inspects them for any issues. She then follows a carefully formulated recipe to give her wax melt snap bars their top performance with scent throw and durability. Once inventory is created and cured, it is carefully stored to avoid any damage or aging issues. Then, when an item is ordered, Mally will manually look over each and every item to double check that no damage has occurred while waiting to be purchased. Mally then carefully packages your item in an appropriate mailer that will protect the item(s) and ship the item to you using known and trusted providers.

What is your wax blend made of?

The wax used in my wax melts is a custom blend made up of soy and paraffin waxes. This allows for a strong bond between wax and fragrance oil, resulting in a strong scent throw, and durability for shipping.

Do you use palm oil in your products? What oils do you use in your handcrafted soaps? 

No, we do not use palm oil or  palm kernel oil in any of our products. While these oils can be sustainably sourced, we have made the conscious decision to refrain from using it in our products due to the human rights and environmental impact.

The oils I use in most of my soaps is a custom blend made up of seven skin loving oils. By combining Avocado, Castor, Coconut, Grapeseed, Olive, Soybean, and Sunflower oils in carefully balanced ratios, I have formulated a recipe that is cleans wonderfully without leaving your skin dry. Some of our soaps use fewer oils so please check the ingredients list on each soap listing if you have specific concerns. We source our oils for reputable suppliers to ensure the highest quality product. 

What is your processing time on orders?

Once an order is placed, there is a 24-48 hour processing time. I do my best to get orders shipped out as quickly as possible! I ship out Monday-Friday and on Saturdays when Monday is a holiday.

I just placed my order, when will I receive it? I'm excited!

I am excited too! Typically most domestic orders will arrive within 5-7 business days of ordering, and often will get there sooner depending on how far your package has to travel. We ship all of our orders through USPS Priority to keep shipping times short and costs affordable. We have arranged for discounted shipping that is not available to the general public and we gladly pass the savings on to you.

I'll do my best to meet these shipping estimates, but cannot guarantee them. Actual delivery time will depend on the postal service. Once the package is scanned by the post office I have no control over how long the package will take to arrive. I am not liable or responsible for any delays, re-routes, or failed deliveries of your package. However, I always want to make sure you receive the order that you paid for so please visit the Contact Us page and submit a message if you ever have any concerns with the status of your order. I will get back to you within 1-2 business days.
Do you ship internationally?
Unfortunately we are not currently able to offer international shipping at this time. Our products are often quite hefty and would be cost prohibitive to our international friends. We are always looking for ways to optimize out options and hope to be able to offer this option in the future.
Oh no! My shipping address is incorrect on my order! What should I do?

If you notice that your address is incorrect after the order has already been placed, please visit the Contact Us page and submit a message immediately so I can adjust it before shipping out your order! Once the package is scanned by the post office I will no longer have access to your package to make the address correction. If the package is returned to me as undeliverable, I will of course reach out to you to arrange for it to be sent back out to you.
